KARACHI: The organisers of the Super Kabaddi League (SKL) have said that the second edition of the country’s marquee event would be planned after the situation regarding COVID-19 became clear.
“InshaAllah if coronavirus is over then in winters 2020-2021,” Strawberry Sports Management chief Haider Daud told ‘The News’ on Saturday.
He said there will be no additional teams. “The event will be contested with the same number of teams. Some going out, some new ones but hopefully the number will be the same,” Daud said.
He said that the event would be held in coordination with the Pakistan Kabaddi Federation (PKF).
The first edition was held in May 2018 in Lahore which was won by Gujrat Warriors. As many as ten outfits were part of the ten-day event. Foreign players were also part of the competitions.
