Cops’ teams formed to shift patients to hospitals
LAHORE:Special teams of Lahore police have been formed to shift the suspected coronavirus patients to hospitals.
Each police division will have contingent of 10 cops for the purpose. The capital city police officer (CCPO) distributed medical kits among the members of special teams belong to six police divisions.
19,971 people asked to return home: As many as 28,631 citizens were checked and more than 19,971 people were asked to go back home during the last four days since the imposition of Section 144 as a part of impartial lockdown in the City. As many as 354 FIRs were registered on violations of Sections 144. The accused persons nominated in the FIRs were release afterwards taking warranty bonds as not to move again in the City unnecessarily. As many as 18,476 motorcycles, cars, rickshaws and bigger vehicles were stopped from movement in the City.
notified: The inspector general of police, Punjab, issued a formal notification of the names of the 86 officers who got promotion from inspector rank to DSP rank.
