Teenage girl killed in road accident
A teenaged girl died in a road accident near Korangi’s Darul Uloom on Friday, according to Awami Colony police.
Rescuers reached the scene and rushed the victim to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre in an injured condition where 17-year-old Sonia, daughter of Sarfaraz, succumbed to her injuries during treatment. The family took the body away with them without medico-legal formalities.
Body found
The body of a man was found at a house in the Garden area. According to police, the neighbours informed them about the body. The body was conveyed to the Civil Hospital for medico-legal formalites.
Police said the gate was locked from inside so they had to break the lock to enter into the house. The deceased was around 35 years old who used to live alone in the house. Police said that they were waiting for a post-mortem report which would ascertain the actual cause of the death.
