FAISALABAD: People belonging to different walks of life Friday welcomed the Prime Minister’s package for farmers. FCCI executive member Masood Iqbal said although it was a delayed initiative, but it will support small farmers to some extent. He said it will bring a positive socio economic change and strengthen agricultural base of the country. He said apart from the package the government should also give due consideration to exporters of rice. MNA Haji Muhammad Akram Ansari said some political opponents are opposing the package which has exposed their lip service towards small farmers.
