Two killed, three hurt in crossfire

HAFIZABAD: Two people were killed while three others sustained injuries during crossfire between two groups at Sooianwala village on Wednesday.Reportedly, Zulfiqar had a dispute of fish farm with his brother Akhtar Ali. On the day of the incident, both brothers and their accomplices exchanged hot words over the issue. Later, they opened fire at each other. As a result, Akhtar Ali and his nephew Waqar were killed on the spot while Zulfiqar and his sons Waqar and Khawar were injured.
They were rushed to the DHQ Hospital while Zulfiqar was referred to a Lahore hospital in critical condition. —Correspondent
