KALAYA: The journalists from Orakzai and Hangu districts on Tuesday condemned the arrest of Jang Group Editor-in-Chief Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman. The condemnation came at a meeting attended by Hangu Union of Journalists President Israr Ahmad Orakzai, Orakzai Press Club President Saleh Din Orakzai and a number of other working journalists. The participants of the meeting demanded the immediate release of Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman. Speaking at the meeting, the journalists said that it was unfair on part of the govt and the National Accountability Bureau to have arrested Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman in a 34-year old property case.
