Fesco striving to ensure safety of staff

FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (Fesco) is striving hard to ensure the safety of its staff.

On the special directions of Chief Executive Officer Shafiqul Hassan, the company has introduced Quick Impact Training under the Safety Programme for its officers as well as officials. The duration of the course would be one week and during this week necessary training regarding implementation of safety principals, Earth policy, safety code, use of HT detector, temporary earth, use of PTW before, use of PPE and D operating rod training would be provided to the staff. In this connection, during the first week of February, Quick Impact Training under the Safety Programme was provided to 173 officers and officials at Regional Training Centre Faisalabad, Circle Training Centres Sargodha and Jhang.

Meanwhile, Fresco Chief Engineer Muhammad Umar Lodhi terminated Line Superintendent-I of Maghiana sub-division under the Pakistan Wapda Employees E&D rules 1978 on the charges of corruption and negligence. The accused official had granted many chances for personal hearing and defense reply but he failed to prove the charges wrong.
