MANSEHRA: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government would post more than 500 teachers at primary, middle, high and higher secondary schools across the district in near future.
“The tests and interviews of most of the newly appointed teachers have been completed and we would make public the final lists in first week of next month,” District Education Officer Khan Mohammad Swati told reporters here on Sunday.
He said that as many as 500 teachers including 359 primary schoolteachers, 60 certified teachers, 50 secondary school teachers and the rest in other cadres had been appointed in the district. “These newly appointed teachers would be posted at seats lying vacant in state-run primary, middle, high and higher secondary schools in the district,” said Swati.
He added that some initial lists of the newly appointed teachers were made public at his offices so that applicants could thoroughly check them and if having any objections and reservations, could approach his department for correction but the final lists would be made public in first week of March. He said that in order to provide better services to applicants during the entire appointment process, a telephone number had also been sanctioned for lodging of complaints.
“The applicants can approach me and my subordinate, assistant district officer establishment, for any query or lodging any objection,” said Swati.
