Aerial firing suspect arrested

Police claimed to have arrested a man for on a wedding ceremony in Karachi’s Shah Latif locality. The Shah Latif police have registered a case against the groom and his brother over the incident. The police said a video of the aerial firing had gone viral on social media. The wedding ceremony was held in Quaidabad area a few days ago. The video shows the groom and others firing shots in the air. The police on Thursday arrested one suspect, namely Raja Jawwad, who told the police that the groom, Raja Waqas, and his brother, Raja Sheraz, also fired shots on the occasion. The police said they had also nominated the groom and his brother in the FIR.
