Trials for Under-21 games

PESHAWAR: The trials for six different games to select Under-21 players were held at the Peshawar Sports Complex here on Thursday.
Officials of the Directorate of Sports told reporters that 3,600 players had registered for the trials in the first phase of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa U-21 Games to be played from February 7-18. District Sports Officer Anwar Kamal Burki hoped good teams would be selected for the forthcoming tehsil games. He advised the players to attend the trials for selecting athletics, football, hockey, tug of war, kabaddi and volleyball teams. The trials started at 9.00 am and continued till 5.00 pm.
