2 terrorists killed in encounter

TANK: The police claimed to have killed two terrorists here on Tuesday. Awal Khan and Jahanzeb, two brothers and key leaders of their own faction Awal Khan Group of the banned TTP, were killed in an encounter on Tator road. The Counter Terrorism Department, acting on a tip-off, intercepted two motorcyclists who opened fire on the policemen. In retaliation, the police killed both of them. The source said Awal Khan Bhittani also had Rs500,000 bounty on his head. The incident was followed by a search operation in the area.
