LAHORE:Partly cloudy weather was observed in the City on Friday while Met Office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
Met officials said that a shallow westerly wave was affecting north Balochistan and was likely to persist during the next 24 hours. They predicted that mainly cold and dry weather was expected in most parts of the country.
However, cloudy weather with light rain (snowfall over mountain) is expected at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas during the morning hours.
On Friday, minimum temperature was recorded at Skardu where the mercury dropped to -22°C while in Lahore it was 4.6°C and maximum was 20.5°C.
