LAHORE: The annual elections of the Teaching Staff Association (TSA) of University of Engineering and Technology (UET) were held on Thursday in which the university’s Innovative Panel won all the seats, including that of the president. Dr Faheem Gohar Awan from Innovative Panel was elected as president by securing 171 votes., Dr Tariq Nawaz and Dr Waseem Abbas as vice-presidents, Dr Amir Ikhlaq as general secretary, Dr Jahanzaib Israr as joint secretary, Dr Tanveer Qasim as social Secretary and Dr Mustafa Habib as treasurer. Dr Kamran was the chief elections commissioner. The newly-elected TSA President Dr Faheem Gohar Awan said TSA was a truly representative organisation of teaching staff. He vowed to do his best for the staff.
