According to news reports Sindh High Court Chief Justice Ahmed Ali Shaikh has suspended a civil judge from Sehwan, on grounds of gross misconduct. The judge has been accused by a female litigant of sexual assault. As per the allegations, the judge ordered the police and his staff to leave the courtroom and told the litigant to come to his official chambers, where he assaulted her.
If the allegations are indeed true exemplary punishment must be given to the accused to maintain the sanctity of the judiciary.
