Byco Pakistan awarded

ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi has bestowed an award for Corporate Social Responsibility upon Byco at an exclusive ceremony held in Islamabad on Wednesday, a statement said.
General Shafqaat Ahmed, senior vice president for government relations, Byco Petroleum Pakistan Ltd, received the award, it added.
Byco has been selected as a special winner for its award-winning sustainability initiatives, including plantation of thousands of native trees using the Miyawaki method, distribution of millions of Moringa tree seeds across Pakistan, to become Pakistan’s first carbon neutral oil company, and not the least, Byco’s partnership with the United Nations to install water recycling plants at car washes at Byco’s retail outlets to conserve water.
