Human settlements minister visits Bhittaiabad
The Sindh government has paid special attention to the completion of development projects across the province so that the people can get relief.
Sindh Minister for Human Settlements and Special Development Ghulam Murtaza Baloch said this on Sunday as he inspected a road from the Malir Cantonment to Mosamiyat during a visit to the union council of Bhittaiabad.
He also listened to the grievances of residents of Rashdi Goth related to sewerage and issued a directive to a Karachi Development Authority engineer to resolve the issues of the residents. The site survey officer told the provincial minister that 70 per cent of sewerage work had been completed.
Baloch said the construction of the road from the Malir Cantonment to the Met Office would create ease for the public.
He also attended as the chief guest a ceremony in connection with the 92nd birth anniversary of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in PS-99 UC Gujro. Baloch said Bhutto was a great leader who created awareness in the poor people and encouraged them to struggle for their rights. The event was also attended by MPA Mohammad Sajid Jokhio.
