Land record to be computerised
Islamabad : The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration in order to root out land related corruption and irregularities, has decided to take a number of steps including computerization of land revenue record of rural areas of the federal capital.
“Computerization of revenue record is our top priority and concrete measures are being taken in this connection,” said Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Aamer Ali Ahmad. In this connection, Additional Assistant Collectors are being recruited to meet Rs1 billion target in head of Capital Value Tax (CVT) by end this year Bachelor degree holder Patwaris would also be appointed. The district administration has also decided to update record of right of land after every four years and meet shortage of Patwaris.
