PCB reduces ticket prices for BD matches
KARACHI: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced ticket prices for the international matches against Bangladesh.
The PCB has reduced the ticket prices from the Sri Lanka series in an effort to attract fans to the Gaddafi Stadium where the three T20Is between the Asian neighbours will be played–on January 24, 25 and 27.
The tickets for AH Kardar, Rajas, Javed Miandad and Saeed Anwar enclosures have been reduced from Rs1500 to Rs1000, Imran Khan and Fazal Mahmood enclosures from Rs3000 to Rs2000, and Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis enclosures from Rs5000 to Rs4,000.
The prices for the Inzamam-ul-Haq, Nazar, Quaid, Imtiaz Ahmed, Zaheer Abbas, Hanif Mohammad, Majid Khan, Abdul Qadir, Saeed Ahmed and Sarfaraz Nawaz enclosures have been retained at Rs500.
For the February 7-11 Test in Rawalpindi, tickets for Azhar Mahmood, Imran Khan, Javed Akhtar and Javed Miandad enclosures will be available for Rs100, while tickets for Meeran Buksh, Shoaib Akhtar, Sohail Tanvir and Yasir Arafat enclosures have been retained at Rs50.
Ticket prices for the April 3 ODI and April 5-9 Test, both to be played in Karachi, along with the dates of the tickets sales for the Rawalpindi Test, will be announced later, said the PCB.
