The Lahore Stock Exchange depicted bearish trend on Tuesday, as the LSE-25 Index declined by 116 points to close at 5,949 points, dealers said.
Trading volumes were higher than the volumes recorded on the last trading day.
Of the 74 companies traded, the value of nine increased, 23 companies suffered losses, while there was no change in the value of 42 companies' shares.
Trading volume was 2.73 million shares, higher than the trading volumes of 2.72 million shares recorded on the last trading day. Dewan Salman Fibers was the volume leader, recording a turnover of 0.881 million shares.
