LAHORE:The seventh Convocation of University of Education (UE) was held on Wednesday at Faisalabad Campus. Overall, 12,316 graduates, including 5 PhD and 631 MPhil students were awarded degrees whereas 158 students were honored with gold, bronze and silver medals.
The convocation was presided over by UE Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha. He congratulated the graduates and their parents and teachers. Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha, “University of Education, Lahore, has produced hundreds of thousands of skillful and proficient educationists and officers. UE has accomplished elevated standards of success through innovation, creativity and forward-looking strategies.”
The university has a respectable place among the large public sector universities of Pakistan with a number of sub-campuses with an estimated enrollment of 26,000 students, he added.
