This refers to the letter 'Fact check' (Jan14, 2020) by Shoaib A Majeed. The writer should have compared the military aid and equipment received by Pakistan during the Musharraf government with what the incumbent government is receiving.
There is also a need to compare the amount of accumulated debt the PTI government is paying back compared to 2001. The law of necessity was misused as a pretext to initiate coups, not for releasing Nawaz Sharif.
