LAHORE:Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said that the silence of United Nations Organisation (UNO) over terrorism of RSS and Narendra Modi is highly questionable. He said that Narendra Modi had become enemy of regional peace and humanity and peace cannot be established in his presence.

He was talking to Amjad Javed Jaral from Azad Jammu and Kashmir and the party delegations from various districts of Punjab here Sunday at Governor House. Chaudhry Sarwar said it had been 154 days of curfew in Held Kashmir and what the biggest terrorism could be than Narendra Modi’s massacring of Indian Muslims through police and RSS. Unfortunately, UNO and other international human rights organisations have kept shameful mum over it which is highly condemnable, he said and asserted that establishment of peace in the region was out of question as long as Narendra Modi continued to target Kashmiris and Muslims of India.

He said that Pakistan was standing with Kashmiris and Indian Muslims and would not leave them alone come what may, adding that Pakistan was raising voice for them at every global forum. Kashmir is jugular vein of Pakistan and now it is time that Muslims play an effective role collectively in ridding the Kashmiris and Indian Muslims of Modi’s aggression.

Talking to party delegations from various districts of Punjab, the governor said that all the parliamentary parties are standing with Pakistan Army which is a clear and loud message that we all are on the same page against the country’s enemies and for sovereignty and security of the motherland.

He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan was adhering to the policy of transforming Pakistan into an economic giant. Unlike the past, the PTI government is taking unprecedented measures to purge the police and other institutions of political interference and the government is also striving hard to ensure maximum relief to people by ensuring social justice and economic development, he mentioned.

Ch Sarwar cited that the government was also achieving great successes in the field of economy as on the start of the new year Pakistan Stock Exchange surpassed 42,000 points highest level in 16 months and on the other hand signing of Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with China was also manifestation of the resolve that 2020 would be the year of Pakistan’s progress and prosperity.
