CHAKWAL: Three members of the corporate sector were elected unopposed in the annual election of the Chakwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) on Thursday. Irfan Hussain, Chaudhry Yaseen and Noor Sultan of the Qazi Akbar group were elected unopposed. The only candidate and head of the founder group Sahbzada Abdul Qadoos Naqshbandi could not find the man who might second him for the polls. However, nomination papers of the members of the founder group Sahbzada Abdul Qadoos, Chaudhry Ahmad Khan and Asif Mehmood were accepted. Nomination papers of the Qazi Akbar group members Khawaja Arif Yousaf, Abdul Hafeez Anjum and Haji Abdul Razzaque were also accepted. The polls for the three seats of the associate members will be held on September 12 and 99 members will vote for the three seats.
