APS martyrs paid tributes
LAHORE: Punjab University’s College of Earth and Environmental Sciences (CEES) organised a seminar to pay tribute Army Public School (APS) martyrs here on Thursday.
PU Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Saleem Mazhar, Brig (r) Ghazanfar Ali, and others spoke on the occasion. They paid tribute to the martyrs of APS and also shared their memories on this sad occasion of Pakistan’s history.
A large number of students, faculty members and civil society representatives participated in the seminar. CEES Principal Prof Dr Sajid Rashid Ahmad said the attack on Army Public School was actually an attack on future of Pakistan. He said even children of Pakistan had sacrificed their lives in war on terror. He said due to valour and sacrifices of Pakistan Army, ‘we had defeated terrorists in country’.
