Gang busted

Islamabad: Anti-Car Lifting Cell (ACLC) of Islamabad police busted an inter-provincial gang of car/motorcycle lifters and recovered 14 cars and worth millions of rupees from them, the police spokesman said.

He said that, special teams under supervision of In-charge ACLC Sub- Inspector Liaqat Ali along with Sub-Inspectors Noor Ullah, Habib Ullah ASIs Manzoor Ilahi, Sajid Mehmood Waheed Ahmad, Noor Muhammad and other officials achieved a success and apprehended six members of an inter-provincial gang of car and motorcycle lifters. The gangsters have been identified as Ameer Abdullah, Aamir Hayat, Hafiz Abdul Rauf, Muhammad Bilal alias Bilala, Ghulam Murtaza alias Murti, Amanat Hayat alias amanti.

During the preliminary investigation, they confessed to take away the vehicles from various areas of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Police teams have also recovered 14 vehicles and 10 motorcycles.

Following cases have been registered against the recovered vehicles. FIR No. 287/19 PS Shalimar, FIR No. 267/19, PS Margalla, FIR No. 363/19, PS Tarnol, FIR No. 448/19, PS Karachi Company, FIR No. 606, PS I.Area, FIR No. 450/19, PS Karachi Company, FIR No. 466/19, PS Karachi Company, FIR No. 366/18, PS Sabzi Mandi, FIR No. 163/17, PS I. Area, FIR No. 167/14, PS Koral, FIR No. 483/13, PS Abpara, FIR No. 189/19, PS Margalla, FIR No. 1001/19, PS Civil Line Rawalpindi, FIR No. 657/19, PS Rawalpindi.

Following cases have been registered against the recovered motorcycles. FIR No. 580/19, PS Koral, FIR No. 575/19, PS Koral, FIR No. 251/19, PS Margalla, FIR No. 253/19 , PS Margalla, FIR No. 622/19, PS I.Area, FIR No. 555/19, PS Bhara Kahu, FIR No. 159/19, PS Abpara.
