Galiyat receives snowfall, rain

ABBOTTABAD: Galiyat received snowfall on Friday followed by rain in Nathiagali, Ayubia, Thandiyani and other hilly areas of Abbottabad, bringing the mercury down. Ahsan Hameed, the spokesperson for the Galiyat Development Authority, said that Abbottabad to Murree Road had been cleared to traffic.
However, he added that ta land-sliding had struck Changla Gali and machinery had been deployed to ensure the flow of traffic.
A large number of tourists reached Galiyats, including Nathiagali, Donga Gali, Ayubia and Changla Gali after the road was cleared to traffic by removing the snow.
