Burnt body of man found in suitcase

The body of an unidentified man, who appeared to be in his mid-20s, was found in the outskirts of the metropolis on Friday.
The body was stuffed in a suitcase which was found in bushes near Baba Morr, within the remits of Surjani Town police station. Police said the body was moved to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for an autopsy.
The man was strangled to death and also tortured by culprits involved in his alleged kidnapping, police added. The murderers burnt the body before stuffing it in the suitcase, police said. The body is now kept at a morgue and efforts are being made to ascertain the man’s identity, according to police.
