Twenty suspects were rounded up by the Sindh Rangers during different raids on Wednesday. A paramilitary spokesman said raids were carried out in Korangi, Chakiwara, Ferozeabad, Gulshan-e-Maymar, Zaman Town and Al-Falah areas.
The arrested suspects were Muhammad Kashif, Jamal Hussain, Naseeruddin, Ghulam Mustafa, Muhammad Nadeem, Shahid Ali, Muhammad Bilal, Muhammad Usama, Muhammad Umair, Muhammad Amir, Nadir, Tilla, Mohaib Ali, Abdul Khalique and Iqbal Khan, he said. The spokesman said the suspects were involved in robberies, motorcycle snatching and street crimes, headed.
In a separate raid in Korangi area, the Rangers apprehended Waheed Imran who is involved in heinous crimes and weapons were also found on him, the spokesman said. More raids were conducted in Baghdadi, Jackson, Artillery Maidan and Civil Lines areas during which four suspects were arrested, he said, adding that the suspects were drug dealers and they were identified as Asif, Usman Ghani, Muhammad Hayat and Mobin. All suspects were later handed over to police for a legal action, he said.
