KARACHI: The honorable Supreme Court of Pakistan has expresses their satisfaction on the development works done in the jurisdiction of CBC and appreciated the efforts of Mr. Shahrome Safdar khatak, Executive Officer Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC). The apex court also stated that atleast there is some department, who is doing well in the area.
The CEO, CBC told that it is a great honor for the board to have appreciation from all corners of the society. He also emphasized to resolve the problems of the area with the cooperation of elected representative and the employees of the CBC to make the organization as a Benchmark to others.
He also added that installing street lights, batterment of sewerage system, carpeting of road, fixing the traffic signals, appointment of life guards and also using the modern imported equipments for clearing the coastal area in the jurisdiction of CBC are the best features of the organization.
On the occasion of newly lying sewerage lines in Jamhuria colony and also installing filtration plant, he directed his staff to work in collaboration with newly elected Vice Chairman, Mr. Aziz suharwardi and area councilors to accelerate the work and provide better civic facilities to the residents of the area. He also directed the staff of the board to coordinate the area residents of the elected representative. The Executive Officer reviewed the of tree plantation arrangement for more than 0.2 million tree in the area and also directed for arrangement to provide door to door plantation and look after their nourishment.
The Executive Officer said that is a prime responsibility of the board to resolve the problems of the residents and assured to provide the basic necessities to the residents of the area.**
