ISLAMABAD: The Khyber Pukhtunkhwa (KP) National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has sped up probe against ex-adviser to PM on Aviation and KP ex-governor Sardar Mehtab Abbasi in a case of assets beyond known source of income and sent him a questionnaire seeking details of his source of income and expenditure as well as assets and properties.
In the questionnaire, the NAB asked Sardar Mehtab to provide the details of expenses made on the education of his children.
He was asked how many times he travelled to foreign countries along with details of days of his stay of visited country and expenditure incurred there.
The NAB questioned him whether any of his dependent made the investment or purchased the property especially in Sweden or Switzerland.
It also asked from Sardar Mehtab Abbasi to provide the details of investment in Kashmir Housing Society situated in Taxila and provide details of relation with Bashir Ahmed Abbasi and Sidiq Ahmed Abbasi.
The NAB further asked from Sardar Mehtab Khan whether his son Shamoon Ahmed Abbasi had any friend namely Ahmed Nawaz S/o Noor Ahmed and whether they had made collective investment.
The KP NAB also questioned him whether as an adviser he cancelled any profitable route of PIA, and awarded to Air Blue.
The KP NAB in its questionnaire also mentioned the assets/properties of Sardar Mehtab and those of his family and asked him to provide source of acquisition and present status.
The assets/properties, which the KP NAB mentioned in its questionnaire included 211 kanal agriculture land in Boi Rankot Abbottabad, Palatial House in Boi Rankot, Abbottabad, commercial land, CNG station in Abbottabad, Toyota Premic, 150 kanal forest land in Khaira Gali, shares in Malkot Poultry, Northern Enterprises, Lucky Oil Pvt LTD, land at Malkot, 1 kanal 5.5 marla House in F-11/4 ,Islamabad, 66 kanal land in Hassanabdal, 20 kanal residential land in Khanpur, company Aqua Power, company Uni Communication, 4 houses in Islamabad, Malkot Breeder Farm, Satellite Town, Rawalpindi, a poultry farm in Abbottabad, 16 kanal land in Patriata, Murree, 800 kanal land in Murree in his father name, 1300 kanal land in Bara Kaho, Islamabad, a plaza in F-10, Islamabad, 1 aungalow in Kaghan Colony, Abbottabad, 67 kanal land in Mirpur, market and hotel in Murree, 3-4 shops in Aabpara, Islamabad and marble factory in Sherwan.
