Crossing the road
December 04, 2019
With the continued overflow of traffic on the important roads of Karachi such as M A Jinnah Road, I I Chundrigar Road, Shahra-e-Faisal, University Road, etc, it has rather become very difficult for pedestrians to cross over to other side of these roads. This is so because there are few pedestrian bridges on these stretched roads.
As a result, it has often been seen that pedestrians come across major accidents while crossing these roads. I, therefore, request the authorities concerned that pedestrian bridges may be constructed on all the busy roads of Karachi, at least after every 500 meters of distance, so that pedestrians, can safely reach the other side.
