KARACHI: Pakistan’s Naveed Rehman and Nauman Khan reached the pre-quarter-finals of the $6000 Medicine Hat Squash Open in Canada on Thursday. 9/16th seed Naveed beat unseeded Kyle Spackman of Canada 11-3, 11-3, 11-3 in 19 minutes in the first round.
Meanwhile, 9/16th seed Nauman defeated Ahmed Abualela of Egypt 11-8, 12-10, 11-5 in 24 minutes. Naveed will now face seventh seed Robin Gadola of Switzerland and Nauman will be up against eighth seed Curtis Malik of England in the second round.
