Qatar Airways sets up health centre in Khanewal

MULTAN: The Qatar Airways has set up a health centre in the flood-hit area in Khanewal district, said Qatar Airways CPI coordinator Waqas Haleem.
Addressing a function here on Tuesday, he said that it was a great privilege to announce that the airways had launched a welfare project at an estimated cost of Rs 3.5 million in Khanewal for the betterment of marginalised communities of the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Qatar Airways Indian Subcontinent vice-president Ihab Sorial said that the airways was one of the fastest growing airlines in the world and it had experienced rapid growth in the last 18 years.
He said that Qatar Airways connected passengers from Multan to London, Paris, Milan, Athens, Copenhagen, Dubai, Riyadh, Dammam and Jeddah.
He said that it flew a modern fleet of 162 aircrafts to 151 key and leisure destinations across Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, North America and South America. He said that flights from Multan-Doha would be available on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
