A Dubai-returned man was shot at and injured allegedly by extortionists in Shafiqabad police limits on Saturday.
Police have registered a case and started investigations. The victim has been identified as Javed Fida, a resident of Shafiqabad. The accused later identified as Jamshed had demanded Rs 3 million from him and threatened to kill him on refusal.
Man found dead: A 25-year-old man was found dead in Mozang police limits on Saturday.
Police removed the body to morgue for autopsy. The victim, yet to be identified, was found dead on the footpath of Mozang Adda.
Police after being informed reached the scene and removed the body to morgue. Police claimed that the victim was a drug addict.
