MANSEHRA: Seven tourists including women and children sustained critical injuries when a passenger jeep plunged into a deep ravine near Saiful Maluk Lake in Naran area of Kaghan valley on Monday, police said.They said the jeep was on way back to Naran from the Saiful Maluk Lake when the driver lost control over the steering while overtaking another jeep and plunged into a ravine.The local people rushed to the scene, retrieved the injured and shifted them to the Civil Hospital Naran and then Ayub Medical Complex in Abbottabad.
No clue yet to missing minors

GHAZI: There is no clue yet to four children who went missing last week from the main colony in Tarbela. It was learnt that last week a family from Tangi area in Charsadda district came to the house of Israr Ahmed, who is an employee in Tarbela. A family source said that 13-year-old Saad along with his cousins identified as Yasir, 14, Hasnain, 12 and Arham, 5, went out and did not return home.Their families searched them everywhere in area but failed to find them. It was presumed that they might have drowned in the barrage stream. The divers and boat have been arranged to recover the bodies.
157 more NWA families repatriated

BANNU: Around 157 more internally displaced families were sent home in North Waziristan Agency (NWA) on Monday, official sources said.They said that 157 families comprising 742 persons of the Dawar tribe returned to their homes. The sources said that the second phase, which had been stopped temporarily due to the Eid holidays, resumed and the families were sent to the areas which had been cleared due to operation Zarb-e-Azb.The sources said that the returning persons 192 males, 255 females and 295 children were taken to native villages under the security forces escort. Each returning family was provided Rs10,000 for transportation and ATM cards through which they could withdraw Rs25, 000 for meeting other needs.
