SHO booked for illegally arresting man

TOBA TEK SINGH: Chuttiana police on Thursday registered a case against its SHO Muhammad Saleem for illegally arresting a man in a murder case. According to the FIR, DSP Naeem Aziz visited the police station and found Muhammad Rizwan of Chak 497/JB (Jhang) detained in a lockup. During questioning, Rizwan disclosed that he had been arrested several days ago by SHO M Saleem in a murder case, but there was no record of his arrest in the police register. The DSP added in the FIR that the SHO failed to satisfy him in this regard.
