Heavy traffic and poor maintenance has made the situation of IJ Principal Road more pathetic creating hardships for the motorists.
Being one of the busiest roads in twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, the IJ Principal Road is the worst example of traffic jam where over loaded and heavy vehicles of all sort run throughout the day. The road users have complained that overloaded heavy vehicles have ruined the road.
