LAHORE
The Mutahidda Mahaz Asataza Punjab (MMAP) Tuesday strongly criticized the School Education Department (SED) Punjab for, what it claims, making presence of school heads and staff as mandatory during the upcoming Eid holidays for anti-dengue campaign.
In a press release, the MMAP leaders including Hafiz Ghulam Mohyddin, Kashif Shahzad, Hafiz Abdul Nasir and others alleged that the SED Punjab through a notification had made its mandatory for principals, heads of schools and other staff to be present in schools during Eid holidays with regard to the government’s anti-dengue campaign.
The MMAP leaders observed that it was unjust on part of the Schools Department to “ban” celebration of festive occasions like Eid.
