Special olympics camp final phase underway

KARACHI: The final phase of coaching camps for special athletes who will represent Pakistan in the forthcoming Special Olympics World Games has commenced on Wednesday at various centers across the country.
The games are to be held in Los Angles in the last week of this month. The camps for tennis, basketball, swimming, cycling, and football are being held in Karachi, while camp for power lifting is held in Lahore.
Similarly, for athletics and badminton the camps are being set up in Islamabad and table tennis camps at Wah Cantt. Most of the camps are being held in afternoon and evening sessions. Special players from across the country have already joined the respective camps. Pakistani contingent will leave for the US on July 21st.
