Doctors and patients

Doctors advised an operation my nephew, who was admitted to the Hayatabad Medical Complex for ear infection. However, they went on a strike the next day and since then we have been running from pillar to post to get him treated. All patients at the complex were told to go home till the strike ends without the management taking into account that there were many patients who came from far-flung areas.
Needless to say, people are facing immense problems due to the strike. It is the responsibility of the provincial government to provide people with basic facilities like education, health and justice. Moreover, it is astonishing to observe doctors’ behaviour towards their patients. Is this the promised change?
