Price Control Magistrates continued action against hotels under Ehtram-e-Ramazan Ordinance on Monday and arrested 37 people.
Officials said the arrested people were sent behind bars while 19 people were sent to jail after Price Control Magistrates punished them sentence on the spot.
DCO Usman visited Delhi Gate Ramadan Bazaar to inspect the arrangements. He checked quality and rates of essential commodities.
He visited Badamibagh fruit and vegetable market and held auction of different vegetables under his supervision.
