TIMERGARA: The Finance Department, Khyber Pakhtun-khwa, has released a supplementary grant of Rs300 million for purchase of equipment for the much-awaited Timergara Medical College (TMC).
The grant was approved by Chief Minister Mahmood Khan on the request of member provincial assembly (MPA) and chairman standing committee on Health Dr Sumaira Shams, who called on the former at his office and demanded the release of the supplementary grant for the TMC. The chief minister approved the grant and directed the relevant authorities to process the case.
MPA Dr Sumaira Shams told The News that Chief Minister Mahmood Khan had assured that more funds would be allocated for the TMC project in the upcoming annual budget.
