ISLAMABAD: Pakistan beat Kazakhstan 2-1 in the second playoff of the Junior Asia/Oceania Davis Cup tie in Bangkok on Friday.
Zalan Khan lost the first match of the tie but Abdullah Adnan overwhelmed his opponent in a three-set matches to make it 1-1.
In the doubles, Pakistani duo made a remarkable comeback after losing the first set to beat their opponents in a nail-biter to win the match and the tie.
Earlier, Pakistan lost their first playoff tie against Indonesia 1-2.
