Three Karachi players selected in HEC hockey team

KARACHI: At least three students of two different universities of Karachi have been selected in the team of Higher Education Commission (HEC) for the National Hockey Championship, the spokesman of one of the universities informed ‘The News’ on Friday.
He said that Rao Iqbal and Muhammad Ismail from Karachi University and Anas Siddiqui from Sir Syed University had been selected. Sources connected to the selection process of HEC said that Superior College Lahore’s players proved the most talented in the trials as its seven players were picked. He said that training camp of the HEC hockey team would be held in Karachi at the ground of Karachi University.
