Farhan falls to Egyptian rival in squash tourney final

KARACHI: Pakistan’s Farhan Mehboob lost in the final of the $18,000 Serena Hotel Huawei Pakistan International Tournament at Mushaf Squash Complex, Islamabad on Wednesday. Fifth seed Mohamed El Shirbini of Egypt defeated fourth seed Farhan 11-5, 5-11, 8-11, 11-7, 11-8 in 51 minutes to win the title. President Pakistan Olympic Association (POA), Syed Arif Hasan, was the chief guest at the closing ceremony and distributed trophies and prize money.
