49 LGH employees regularised

LAHORE : Keeping in view the orders of Lahore High Court, services of 49 employees of Lahore General Hospital have been regularised and orders have been issued in this regard. The paramedical staff was working on daily wages for a long time.

Those who have been regularised belong to different categories of scale 1 to 9.

Post Graduate Medical Institute and Lahore General Hospital Principal Prof Dr Mohammad Tayyab and Medical Superintendent Dr Mahmud Salahud-din have congratulated all the employees on their regularisation and said that now they would work with more zeal and fervor as their doubts have been solved. They said paramedical staff of Lahore General Hospital has great exception of experience to serve the ailing humanity and it is hoped that this step would enhance their abilities more in coming future. Meanwhile, all the 49 employees have also expressed their gratitude towards the authorities.

PhD: Punjab University (PU) has awarded a PhD to a scholar in Molecular Biology after approval of his thesis entitled Characterization Cloning and Expression of Bt Gene against Cotton Pests. The name of the scholars is Salahud Din, son of Saifud Din. Meanwhile, the sixth degree awarding ceremony of Punjab University College of Pharmacy will be held at a local hotel on Sunday (today).
