Mohammad Ali Jinnah University Karachi President Prof Dr Zubair Shaikh has asked the university’s students to participate in extracurricular activities besides getting an education.
He said that extracurricular activities provide an opportunity to a student to demonstrate their natural talent, which gives them confidence to excel in their field of choice.
He made these remarks while addressing students at the Jashn-e-Baharan (spring festival). During this colourful event, stalls of garments, cosmetics, decoration pieces, crockery, shoes and food items were set up. A concert and a stage play were also performed.
