Child labour
Child labour is the employment of children. It leads to mental, physical, moral and social harm. Child labour has become an immense issue in Pakistan. Children who work at such an early age lose their childhood.
The main reasons of child labour are poverty, which is compounded by the worsening economic crises and increasing unemployment. The most recent data available is from 1996 where a survey was conducted that showed that there are 3.3 million children in Pakistan who are victims of child labour. The Human Rights Commission Pakistan has estimated that there are 10 million underage children involved in child labour in Pakistan. I request the government to focus on such issues which need focus and time and can’t be solved easily.
