E-bidding, e-tendering system launched in merged districts
PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Communication and Works Akbar Ayub Khan on Tuesday launched e-bidding and e-tendering system for the merged districts.
The inaugural ceremony was started by first e-tendering tender from Parachinar. Chief engineers of merged districts, North and Central were present on the occasion.
The minister felicitated the C&W team, residents of merged districts and contractors for the successful launching of e-bidding and e-tendering system. Akbar Ayub Khan appreciated the efforts of C&W staff from the merged districts who performed their duties during the crisis and militancy era in tribal districts.
Akbar said that C&W is the only KP department, which have e-tendering and e-bidding system, adding on the direction of Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief Minister KP this system would be extended to other provinces as well as other KP departments. The minister said that C&W has already initiated the E-billing system successfully and fruitful results have been secured.
