KARACHI: The only way to improve the game of squash is to hold international tournaments for juniors and seniors carrying prize purse from $10,000 to $15,000 in the country, former world champion Jansher Khan has said.
Thanking Prime Minister Imran Khan for seeking his suggestions to revive squash in the country, he said that this step would boost the morale of Pakistani players and help them get valuable ranking points. “This way, our players will get opportunities to play mega international tournaments,” said Jansher. He added that there was also a need to hire professional and energetic coaches and trainers.
